In this beautiful season of spring flowers and vientiane renewal, Once again, we welcome the "Double solo exhibition" by Professor Zhu Wei, Executive director of the Li Zhengdao Science and Art Center of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the famous Italian modern artist Lorenzo Chinich - "Collision, Dialogue and Integration" of the "International Tunxi Yu Art" series. This event is another collaboration between the two artists after the "double solo exhibitions" in Beijing and Hangzhou. Through the works of Chinese and Italian artists, the people of Tunxi, Huangshan City, are presented with an artistic feast of artistic collision, cross-cultural dialogue and integration of Chinese and Western art.
The event was organized by Tunxi District People's Government, Huangshan City Foreign Affairs Office and co-organized by Li Zhengdao Science and Art Center of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The launch ceremony was held at the Moon Bay Center of Tunxi City, Huangshan City, Anhui Province on March 7. Professor Zhu Wei, an internationally renowned contemporary artist, is currently the Executive Director and Professor of the Li Zhengdao Science and Art Center of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Has won the United States Windsor Newton Award, Mount St. Mary's University Art public development Gold Medal, the United States National Arts League Award; In 2006, he was hired by the National Art League (National Art League) as the sole judge of the "Annual National Art League Member Exhibition" award, and is the only Asian independent judge since the establishment of the alliance nearly 100 years ago, enjoying high honor. He is committed to promoting the reform of China's higher education, popularizing and studying Mr. Li Zhengdao's theory of "integration of science and art", and has achieved obvious results.
In the interview, Professor Zhu Wei said: "The development of art history to today, in fact, the core value is contemporary art, not traditional art, the core of contemporary art is" concept ", so art is not a simple question of beauty and ugliness, it has deeper things." This time to Huangshan, I specially took some contemporary art works, hoping to have an impact on the traditional culture of Huangshan, but also a collision, and finally come to a dialogue to see how to integrate. Italian artist Lorenzo Chinich, an internationally renowned modern artist, was born in 1942 in Meri, northeastern Sicily. He has collaborated with hundreds of international artists and held more than 300 exhibitions in different cities around the world. Lorenzo Chinich, who was not able to attend the event, sent greetings via video: "Dear Chinese friends! For many years, Zhu Wei and Lorenzo Chinich have worked to advance the international "Eternal Art" project. Under their initiative, the international "eternal art" project was expanded to China, the first settlement was selected in Huangshan Tunxi District, and on May 20 last year, the signing of the friendly relationship between "China Tunxi - Italy Meili" and the launch ceremony of the first stop of the international "Eternal Art" in China was successfully held.
On the same day, the "International Tunxi" art exchange and cooperation project was signed on the site. This "double solo exhibition" is also the first cooperation between Tunxi District Government and Li Zhengdao College of Science and Art, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. In December 2023, Tunxi District and Huangshan University signed the "1+11" comprehensive deepening of the strategic framework cooperation agreement. With the signing of the "International Tunxi" art exchange and cooperation project, Tunxi District People's Government, Huangshan University Art College, and Li Zhengdao Science and Art Center of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences will carry out in-depth planning for local and school-school cooperation. Strategic cooperation will be carried out in international cooperation, rural revitalization, academic exchanges, environmental design, art performances, intangible cultural heritage skills, and cultural creativity. Truly realize resource sharing, mutual benefit and win-win, and jointly write a new chapter in the development of school-local cooperation.

After the launch ceremony, Professor Zhu Wei led everyone to watch the exhibition and answered various artistic questions raised by Secretary Ling Yun and the audience one by one. The atmosphere was very active. People hold up their mobile phones to take pictures and record this rare scene. Everyone is immersed in the atmosphere of art. Some people savor the meaning of the work, some people are communicating and discussing different views and experiences, and some people are understanding the biography of the artist to better understand the work. Everyone has different interpretations and different levels of understanding of works of art. It not only brings us visual enjoyment and spiritual edification, but also inspires us to think about personal, life and social issues, sublimate our thoughts, and promote social progress. This may be the real value of works of art.
The exhibition is divided into two stages. The first stage was held at Huangshan Art Museum from February 26 to March 6, and this exhibition is the second stage. The exhibition will be held from March 7 to March 20 at the center of Moon Bay, Tunxi District, Huangshan City.
